About Your Stay at Timber Ridge Lodge Ouray

Why should I book direct?

When you book directly with Timber Ridge Lodge, you’re not just reserving a room — you’re beginning a more personal, more thoughtful mountain stay in Ouray.

Here’s why booking direct makes all the difference:

  1. Best Available Rate - Always. We guarantee our best rates when you book directly through our website. Third-party sites can’t offer a better price — and they often add extra service fees. More savings = more experiences in Ouray.
  2. Personalized Room Selection. Because each of our 20 boutique rooms is unique in size and layout, booking directly with us allows us to personally help you choose the perfect fit — whether you’re planning: A romantic anniversary getaway, a cozy winter escape, or a family mountain adventure. Online travel sites treat us like a standard hotel. We’re anything but standard.
  3. Local Knowledge you can’t get from a booking or travel app. Want to know the best waterfall hike? When the aspens are peaking? Where to soak after a long day on the trails? When you book directly, you have access to a local team who truly knows Ouray — and genuinely cares about your stay.
  4. Flexible, Human Support. Plans change. Weather shifts. Kids get tired. When you book direct, you’re working with real people — not a call center. We can offer more flexibility and clearer communication when reservations come through us directly.
  5. Support a locally owned, boutique lodge. Timber Ridge Lodge isn’t a corporate hotel. We’re locally owned, deeply rooted in the Ouray community, and intentionally small. Booking direct keeps more of your investment here — supporting local jobs, local partnerships, and the character that makes Ouray special.
  6. Book Direct. Stay Personal. Experience More. Whether you’re planning a romantic retreat or a family mountain vacation, booking directly ensures the most seamless, thoughtful experience possible. Reserve your stay today and experience Ouray the way it was meant to be experienced.
